Turkey Packaging Council convened

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Packaging Council convened via video conference. Packaging Council President Mustafa Tacir and TOBB Board Member Engin Yeşil chaired the meeting wherein council members tabled the issue of long-term control of spare parts imports and delays.​

Yavuz Selim Özden, General Directorate of Exports of the Ministry of Commerce, gave a presentation on the Green Deal and questions were answered on the subject.

 

In addition, opinions were exchanged about the Obligations of Packaging Manufacturers published by the Ministry of Commerce. “'PETKİM's application for PE Raw Material Imports” presentation prepared by PAGEV was made by Council Advisor Hasan Salih Acar.

 

Çevko Secretary General Mete İmer and ÇEVKO Foundation Public and Foreign Relations Manager Alphan Eröztürk gave a presentation on the “Turkey Environment Agency which is planned to be established, providing information about how the deposit system could be implemented in Turkey.
