“We are launching our First Step in Exports in 81 Provinces Program, which is a program which will work directly in the field and on a company-by-company basis in a way which completes all our work and projects,” Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan said at the meeting.

Pekcan, pointing out that this program they are launching as the Ministry is very special in improving and increasing Turkey's exports as well as extending the country’s reach.

As the name of the program suggests, it aims to assist companies in 81 provinces with the potential which have not yet exported to take the first step to make their first exports, Minister Pekcan said, “With its widespread quality in 81 provinces throughout Anatolia, this program will be perhaps the most impactful export mobilization program implemented in the history of our economy. This is how we view it and expect it to affect the country and our exports as a whole. Spreading our exports to grassroots has always been one of the priorities of our Ministry. We are as excited and proud as our companies are preparing to take their first step into exports.”
