At the meeting, TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitçi informed the council members about the work carried out on behalf of the sector and the economic measures taken by TOBB during the pandemic.

Council President Kutlu Karavelioğlu gave current figures on the machinery sector, while making assessments about the sector.

At the meeting, OAIB Branch Manager Mehtap Önal gave a presentation on “Evaluation of 2019 in Machinery Foreign Trade,” and, “Developments in Sector Key Indicators - 2019 evaluation,” by Council Advisor Prof. Dr. Ruhi Gürdal.

Ministry of Commerce Deputy Director General Hakan Çalış informed members regarding the measures set forth in the Presidential Eleventh Development Plan, 303.3 as, “By enabling systems and processes for accessing credit through the chattel mortgage will be activated in this way, the opportunities to use loans to the manufacturing industry sectors will be increased.”

At the meeting where Ziraat Bank officials were present, bank representatives answered questions posed by members of council about the use of loans.

In addition, MAKFED Secretary General Zühtü Bakır discussed the agenda and solution proposals of the Legislation and Leasing Committees covering the PGD Program for 2021, Vat rates applied to machines in Leasing Applications, developments related to the Machinery Leasing Sector.
