LPG Council convened

TOBB Turkey Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Council was convened via video conference with the participation of TOBB Board Member Engin Yeşil and Gökhan Tezel with the participation of Muhammed Demir, head of the EPDK Liquefied Petroleum Gases Department.​

It was stated that the document prepared on LPGs received valuable contributions from the Turkey Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Council. The publication of the document is slated before the end of the year.

At the meeting, the current developments regarding LPG vehicles being allowed in underground car parks were discussed and TOBB will inform the sector regarding the relevant draft of the regulation. It was also stated that the Regulation on Workplace Opening and Working Licenses contains a clause related to entering underground car parks and this issue should be taken into consideration as well.

Fuel and Autogas Supply Personnel Standard text has been renewed, but it was expressed that there should have clearer points. Also noted is the training obligations which comes with the Liquefied Petroleum Gases (LPG) Market Act.

The council agreed to hold the next meeting in October, and the session was concluded.
