The meeting saw discussion on the achievements of the last term of the Ufuk2020 program, the activities of the workgroups, Horizon Europe (Ufuk Avrupa) preparatory efforts and Ufuk2020 Green Reconciliation call.

The meeting was attended by Hasan Çağlayan Dündar, Head of the Real Sector, R&D and Application Department, representing the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). Dündar noted that they are following the works of Ufuk2020 and Horizon Europe closely, are organizing activities for SMEs in this context in cooperation with TUBITAK. Regarding Horizon Europe, Dündar stressed that participation is important given the development potential of our country's private sector and especially SMEs in the field of R&D and innovation. Dündar also conveyed the Union's views on increasing the promotion of Ufuk2020 success stories with the call for green reconciliation, the creation of an inventory of R&D projects of our country's SMEs, raising awareness of the presence of overseas partners for applications for support, monitoring and tracking mechanism for applications for Ufuk2020 supports.
