In his speech here, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the seminar is an important opportunity to inform the members of the Council about the structure and activities of TOBB and made recommendations for the newly elected members of the Council.

Stating that there is no personal gain in these jobs, TOBB President said that they sacrifice their jobs, homes and friends. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “You are exactly where you will be useful to people. If you want to contribute to your province and district, your positions are a great opportunity. Remember, the best of people is the one who is beneficial to others.”

Emphasizing that the private sector drives the development of cities, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “You will set the course in your city. If the city is rich, the country will be rich.”

Emphasizing unity and solidarity, Hisarcıklıoğlu asked the council members not to marginalize each other and to accept differences.
