Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğluattended the German-Turkish Trade and Industry Chamber (AHK) and the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TACHCI) Joint Board meeting, held in Istanbul on June 21st, 2019. The meeting, which was hosted by AHK President Marcus Slevogt and TATSO President Rolf Königs, was attended by Undersecretary of Economy and Energy of Germany Oliver Wittke as well as AHK and TATSO Board Members.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Turkey Natural Gas Council meeting was held in Ankara with the participation of senior representatives from the public and private sectors. The main agenda of the meeting was the use of LNG and CNG in land and maritime vehicles, while BOTAŞ Natural Gas Operations and Market Operations Regional Manager Yılmaz Demir provided information on infrastructure investments and capacity.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Earthenware Products Industry Council convened under Council President Kadir Başoğlu and TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş with the attendances of public administration and private sector as well as non-governmental organizations representatives at TOBB. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Turkey Glassware Council meeting was held with TOBB Vice President Ali Kopuz and Turkey Glassware Council Vice-President Murat Akyüz; with the participation of representatives of private sector and non-governmental organizations. ​

The number of newly established companies and the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 0,34% and 1,97% while the number of cooperatives increased by 33,33% according to the previous month.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Member Öztürk Oran attended the Economic Cooperation Organization 2nd Medical Tourism Conference and Exhibition held in Ardabil.​

Turkey Telecommunications Council Meeting was held with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Member Oğuzhan Ata Sadıkoğlu and Telecommunications Council President Rıdvan Uğurlu presiding with the attendances of Competition Authority II. Audit and Implementation Department President Ferhat Topkaya, Competition Chief Expert Neyzar Ünübol, Competition Expert Selvi Kocabay, Competition Expert Selin Dursun, Presidential Strategy and Budget Department Information and Communication Technologies Department Kamil Burak Karayel at TOBB. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) with the support of the Ministry of Commerce, under the auspices of Vodafone Turkey and with Akbank’s sponsorship “Turkey Technology Meetings” event was held in Eskişehir.​

The “Tech Day” Meeting, organized as a part of The General Assembly Meeting of the International Federation of Automobile Experts (FIEA, Fédération Internationale des Experts en Automobiles), was held on June 14th, with 300 people in attendance, in Istanbul with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), while the General Assembly was held on June 15th, 2019.​

458 people who were involved in the motor vehicle trade and successfully completed their exams and received their Vocational Qualification Certificates, were presented their certificates at a ceremony held at the Izmir Chamber of Commerce.​
