TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, speaking about the new Council of Ministers as announced by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, “Our belief that the newly appointed Council of Ministers will render great services unto our country is complete. We must enact structural reforms for sustainable growth in order to continue the performance Turkey economy has achieved.”

In his message Hisarcıklıoğlu said:

“First of all I wish the best for our new Council of Ministers. Turkey economy has gained significant momentum in the recent terms. During the first quarter we have broken a record in growth worldwide.

Our first expectation is for steps to be taken with the goal of decreasing the need for export intermediate goods, eliminating current deficit as a risk factor and change our production structure in mind. It is our heartfelt conviction that the new Council will make the necessary assessments on the subjects.

In addition we put great value in a more democratic, new constitution. We hope for our new government will take serious steps in this direction.

On behalf of the Turkish business world, in honor of the formation of the new government, I would like to wish our new Council of Ministers members, lead by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, success in their endeavors to reach our economic and social goals for the 100th year of our Republic.
