Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Upon starting his office in Turkey, Ambassador Scarente was informed about the structure and activities of TOBB by a presentation. During the visit, cooperation between TOBB Economy and Technology University and Bologna University in Italy; possible areas of cooperation between Turkey and Italy; the recent economic situation in Europe and North Africa and the Emilia-Romagna Zone Businessmen’s visit in August were among the subjects discussed. 

During the meeting Ambassador Scarente emphasized his support for the removal of visas and gave the good news that the process for long term visa will be simplified.

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out the opportunities for Turkish and Italian  businessmen to work together in third countries.
