The effects of climate change are becoming increasingly evident around the world. The fight against climate change is no longer just an environmental issue; it has become the industrial and competitive challenge of the 21^st century. The green transition should be viewed not as a cost item, but as a tool for competitiveness and development. For Türkiye, which imports approximately 70 percent of its energy, energy efficiency and renewable energy are no longer a matter of choice. They are a macroeconomic necessity. “Just as Kayseri has written a success story in its industrialization process, it will do its very best in the green transition and in the fight against climate change,” he said.
