In a post on social media, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), said, “We held the Türkiye-Egypt Business Forum in Cairo with the participation of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Egyptian President Mr. Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. We discussed the development of commercial and economic relations between Türkiye and Egypt, increasing the trade volume between the two countries to a target of $15 billion, and evaluating opportunities for cooperation in third countries. The Türkiye-Egypt economic partnership is moving forward on a stronger and more sustainable foundation.”
