The third meeting of the year for TOBB Turkey Education Board took place in Ankara TOBB Social Facilities Conference Hall. The Board Members called for a change of mindset in the sector and stated that developments and changes must be closely observed.​

  During the meeting, attended by high-level representatives of the public, the private sector and civil society organizations (CSOs), the 4th Education Congress that took place on April 15-16, 2011 was reviewed, the consensus being that the congress has come to hold greater influence over time. Members were united in the opinion that the conclusive declaration, formed at the end of the congress, should be delivered to the relevant authorities as soon as possible to aid in solving identified problems. -“A change in regulations is necessary” Sector representatives drew attention to the need for a change in regulations in regards to the education sector and the need for work conducted to this end. The discrepancies between regulation and practice were also noted during the meeting. Also stating that activities of the services sector were not yet considered export, however, talks with the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade point to a possible resolution of this issue.
