Hisarcıklıoğlu re-elected as CACCI Vice President

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu has been re-elected for the years 2023-2024 as the Vice President of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI), which he has held since 2014.​

At the council meeting held in Melbourne, Australia, Hisarcıklıoğlu was re-elected as Vice President, while the current President Samir Modi handed over his duties to Peter Mcmullin from Australia.

Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) was founded in Taiwan in 1966 by 10 national chambers of commerce.

The Chambers Associations of 28 countries are members of CACCI: Australia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand from the Australian Continent, Hong Kong from East Asia, Japan, South Korea, Mongolia, Taiwan, the Russian Federation, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam from Southeast Asia, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka from South Asia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkey from Central Asia. The Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry is the Asia-Pacific Region's largest business organization, covering 40% of the world's population and 23% of the world economy.

It represents around 3 million companies from 28 countries. Its aim is to bring together the business worlds of the member states in the Asia-Pacific region to contribute to the development of their economies.
