President of TOBB M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that there are 3 million unemployed and 700 thousand people are attending to the employment population every year. Turkey’s most important problem is to find jobs for these people. When these people will be employed, everybody will be happy and prosperity will be reached.
Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu said that 12 million hits has been received and this shows the importance of the Project. “People that will be trained through the Project will be provided allowance. Trainees will take practical trainings in schools and theoretical trainings in industry. After theoretical trainings trainees will be employed and industrialist will benefit from incentives up to 4,5 years, and one million people will be employed through UMEM Beceri’10 Project”.
Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasied the scale of the Project and also said to the young people in the room to understand the importance of working. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated “After you started to work then you are the owner of that business and you should care the business. If the busniness will gain, you will also gain.”
-Minister of Finance Mehmet Şimşek
Minister of Finance Mehmet Şimşek said in last 1 years 1,1 million found jobs and till the end of 2007 approximately 2,2 million people gained jobs.
Minister Şimşek, stated the importance the Project and said “The most important problem in Turkey is unemployment. Our population is quite young and this is a big advantage. To use this advantage we have to find solution to unemployment problem.”
Mr. Şimsek said “Since 2002, education budget is increased 15 times. Education is very important. To supply the needs of industrialists Ministry of Security and Socail Affairs, Ministry of Education cooperated with private sector. In coming years we will have 1 million young people employed through the courses. These courses are opened through the demands of private sector.”
President of ADASO Ümit Özgümüş also evaluated the Project as an important Project which will solve intermediate personel demand from the industry.
