Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that this great victory is the day of pride of a nation enamored of its homeland and independence, "Our history has shown that our nation has never lived, and will never live, under the yoke of another. The Field Battle of the Commander-in-Chief, which was won under the most difficult conditions, is the best example of this.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his message:

"We are celebrating the 98^th anniversary of the Field Battle of the Commander-in-Chief, which began on August 26^th, culminating in the victory of the Turkish Army on August 30^th.

Gazi Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and his comrades in arms led the great fight to independence with determination. Their fight gives us great strength when we look to the future. When we stand as one and united, none can stand before us.

Our cherished nation has never given up on its values such as its flag, homeland and independence throughout history. Our great nation, which is always in favor of peace at home and throughout the world, has never backed down from protecting its independence and homeland.

We, as the business community, will make every effort to push our country to the most advanced points in the race of civilization in order to be worthy of them.

I sincerely congratulate our entire nation on August 30^th, Victory Day."
