The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu was a guest of the Joint Professional Committees Meeting of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, which was held via video conference. Hisarcıklıoğlu consulted with Kocaeli industrialists about the situation in the economy and the new process ahead.
Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they had troubled days due to the outbreak of coronavirus, and said that they should make quick decisions about the outbreak in the future and implement it quickly.
Noting that by taking advantage of technology and holding meetings online has saved time, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “You come to hold these offices voluntarily. If you quickly pass on your problems to us, we can relay these problems to the government authorities in a short time and remedy them. There's a new problem every day right now. We want all sectors to be included in the scope of force majeure.”
