Minister Pekcan described the measures taken for Covid-19 at the meeting, while NGOs shared covid-19's impacts on the sectors, their demands and proposals.

Pekcan, the Advisory Board, stating that they attach great importance to the consultation council and that they will exchange views interactively with NGOs as usual throughout the process.

Stating that the Covid-19 pandemic affects Turkey as well as the whole world, Pekcan stated that they will continue to take NGOs opinions and suggestions into account as the Trade Ministry of Commerce as they have in the past.

Thanking the NGOs for their support for the campaign announced by President Erdoğan, Pekcan added that this is a very important campaign to help low-income citizens and that they anticipate NGO members’ support.

In addition to TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, TİM President İsmail Gülle, DEİK President Nail Olpak, TESK President Bendevi Palandöken, TÜSİAD President Simone Kaslowski, TMB President Mithat Yenigün and YASED President Ayşem Sargın attended the video conference chaired by Minister Pekcan.
