Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed that the month of Ramadan, which also encompasses the Night of Qadr – the night in which the Quran was first bestowed upon our beloved Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), is the greatest occasion for beneficent things to happen for humanity, for the forgiving of past sins and the blossoming of hopes.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his message: “We are once again experiencing the joy of having reached the month of Ramadan. The first verses of the Quran were bestowed - Allah’s greatest gift to mankind, heralded by our Beloved Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), during this blessed month. The month of Ramadan is the sultan of the 11 months when the spirit of unity and solidarity are kept alive; when cooperation and fasting are utilized to tame desires.

We must recognize the importance of this month in order to win the approval of the Creator. We must love each other more, to reach out to those in need and compete in how much good we can do. Every Muslim must strive to be a good person, to attain higher ethics. The way to achieve this starts at avoiding the evil and wrongdoings; refraining from causing hurt to ourselves and those around us. The month of Ramadan, of which we stand on the precipice of, is the perfect opportunity for all of this.

It is with these thoughts and sentiments that I, on behalf of the Turkish business world, hope that the blessed month heralded by the Beloved Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) brings us all peace and prosperity; I hope for a month of Ramadan which brings joy to all of your hearts.”
