According to the research of Interpress, a Media Monitoring Agency, which was carried out in March over the printed media, The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) occupied the first place with 2 thousand 425 news on economy pages among the statements made by unions, associations and chambers.


In the research in which about two thousand national, regional and local newspapers and journals were searched, news published about TOBB in the newspapers throughout March mainly focused on the solution process, approach to Israel, latest arrangements in the Turkish Commercial Code, and statements about the banking system.

In the same research, it was discovered that news in which TOBB showed the entrepreneurial middle-class Anatolian Capital as the driving force of Turkish economy were prominent in March.    It was determined that various statements made by Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of TOBB, who has been elected Chairman of Jerusalem International Arbitration Center for the solution of disagreements between Palestinian and Israeli businessmen were included widely in about 700 news on economy pages.
