“Great Leader Atatürk,

We are in your presence prior to our 73^rd General Assembly. As chairpersons and delegates of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, we are trying to be worthy of your cherished memory and grand goals with all our power. We will never give up on these goals.

We are approaching the centennial anniversary of our glorious Republic. Our Republic, formed following on the steps of our liberation struggle under your leadership as witnessed in admiration by the whole world, is the most meaningful pride and honor for us. We are determined to write this great history; as representatives of the business world, we will continue to make great strides in the economy. Under your guiding light, we have promised to make our country one of the greatest economies in the world; be sure that we will fulfill our promise.

You and comrades in arms have entrusted us with a priceless charge, putting your lives on the line. We will guard this great charge and honor you’ve laid on us. This land, as it was before us and as it will be after us, is our honor.

Our country will continue to march on to bright tomorrows, united and in solidarity. We commemorate the memory of you and all who contributed to the establishment of our Republic and its journey to present day.

The Republic of Turkey will forever stand tall. Grace be upon your souls.”
