“Those who trust in their nation have always won”

In his April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day message, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the power to carry Turkey to a bright future is national sovereignty and said, “April 23rd is the declaration that there is no will above that of the nation. It is the will of our nation which is the foundation of government in our country.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu’s statement is as follows:
“We once again celebrate April 23rd, the anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Grand National Assembly with great pride and joy. Atatürk and his comrades in arms opened the door to a bright future by laying the foundation of our country based on the sovereignty of the people and democracy. Those who trust in the conscience of the nation have always won.
From the days of the War of Independence to this day, we have come a long way with the will of our nation.
The genuine enthusiasm of this beautiful and meaningful day is the inheritance of Mustafa Kemal the Veteran to our children who will likewise pass it onto their children in the future. This is the seed of peace for all the world's children; a better future devoid of war.
On behalf of the Turkish business community, I am celebrate the April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day of our venerable nation.”
