“Müslüm Gürses will live on in the hearts of those who loved him”

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his grief regarding the passing of the artist Müslüm Gürses, “The loss of Müslüm Gürses, who won the hearts of our people with his work in the field of music for years, has deeply grieved us all. Gürses’ name, songs and the love he won are among the unforgettable.
In his message, Hisarcıklıoğlu said:
“The dear artist’s troubled life which began in1953, unfortunately, ended at an early age – the passing of a great value for music history. Although Gürses, who identified with the people; who gave voice to the pain and sentiments of the Anatolian people, is no longer among us, his name, memory and works will live on.
On behalf of the Turkish business world, I pray for the grace of Allah on him and present my condolences to his family and loved one. May heaven be his abode.”
