“Turkey has lost one of its prominent scientists”

Publishing a message in regards to the passing of the academician and author Prof. Dr. Toktamış Ateş, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Turkey has lost one of its prominent scientists and said, “Mr. Ateş was an important scientist in political science.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his message:
“I have learned to my great sorrow that Prof. Dr. Toktamış Ateş has passed away while being treated at the İstanbul University Çapa School of Medicine Hospital.
Ateş, with over 30 books published and his columns in newspapers, widened the horizons of many people and contributed greatly to the political sciences.
On behalf of the Turkish business world, I pray for the grace of Allah upon him and offer my condolences to his family, loved ones and the press and academia communities.”
