TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his message regarding the terror attack which took place in Hakkari resulting in the martyring of our 6 soldiers and 2 rangers, said, “The end of the terror organization which targets the lives of our soldiers will inevitably come. The consciences of everyone who draw breath in this country are condemning these bloody handed murderers.”

In his message Hisarcıklıoğlu said:

“We have learned to our great sorrow that 6 soldiers and 2 rangers have been martyred during an attack on the Geçimli Gendarme Headquarters located on the Hakkari-Çukurca Highway. It has also been reported that 15 soldiers and 6 civilians have been wounded in the attack.

Truly, this anguish is not acceptable by anyone. Those who put Turkey through this deep sorrow are the enemies of humanity and will one account for our martyrs and veterans.

No despicable calculations will damage our unity and solidarity. We declared this to the world during the War of Independence, fighting shoulder to shoulder. We will shout this truth out to the world again if need be.

Let none doubt that those hoping to benefit from these activities will drown in their own ghoulishness.

On behalf of the Turkish business world, I pray for the grace of Allah upon those who were martyred in the heinous attack and present my condolences to the glorious Turkish Armed Forces, their relatives and our Exalted Nation and hope for the speedy recovery of the wounded.”
