Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

 

The business dinner which took place on the 11th of July, 2012 was attended by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, European Parliament Conservatives and Reformists Group President and British Conservative Party Vice President Geofrey Van Orden, Turkey’s Permanent Representative to the EU Selim Yenel, Turkey-EU Combined Parliament Commission Co-Presidents Afif Demirkıran and Héléne Flautre, European Commission British Member Andre Duff, the Netherlands Member Marietje Schaake, the Netherlands Member Emine Bozkurt, Jahn Zahradil from the Czech Republic, Turkey-EU Combined Parliament Commission Turkey Members, Gaziantep National Assembly Representative Ali Şahin, İstanbul National Assembly Representative Ayşe Eser Danışoğlu, Kocaeli National Assembly Representative Lütfü Türkkan, European Commission, European Parliament and European Economic and Social Committee high level administrators.

The opening speeches of the meeting were made by the New Direction Foundation President Geoffrey Van Orden and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. Hisarcıklıoğlu provided information regarding the Constitution Platform and requested the support of the parliament members in Turkey’s EU accession process and visa issues.

During the meeting TEPAV Director Güven Sak also conducted a presentation detailing the work of the Constitution Platform, the method and the results thereof.
