Tunisia’s newly appointed Ambassador to Ankara Mehrez Ben Rhouma visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu in his office. During the meeting, Tunisia’s economic state after the Jasmine Revolution and the Turkish-Tunisian OIZ planned to be built in Tunisia were discussed. Ambassador Rhouma invited TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu to visit Tunisia.​

In reply to Ambassador Ben Rhouma’s invitation, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the subject would be brought up at the DEİK Turkey-Tunisia Business Council.
