Of the 3,616 capacity statements approved in January; 1074 were in Istanbul, 232 in Ankara, 217 in Bursa, 195 in Izmir, 191 in Konya, 146 in Kocaeli, 118 in Gaziantep, 97 in Kayseri, 75 in Antalya, 70 in Manisa.

The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database increased by 3,248 units (4.3%) to 79,349 from 76,101 in January 2020.

According to the Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 118,990 units (3.7%) from 3,189,034 in January 2020 to 3,308,024 in January 2021.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
