D-8 Secretary General Mousavi visited Hisarcıklıoğlu
D-8 Secretary General Seyed Ali Mohammad Mousavi visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office. Stating that their target is reaching 500 billion USD trade volume in D-8 countries in 2018, Mousavi said that TOBB will be taking on great goals when it takes on the mantle of the Presidency of the D-8 Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

As a part of President Abdullah Gül’s state visit to Italy, the Turkey – Italy Business Forum was held. We can achieve our 20 billion Euro trade goal with France
Speaking at the Turkish-French Business Forum attended by Turkish President Abdullah Gül and French President François Hollande, TOBB and DEİK President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they could surpass their target trade volume of 20 billion Euros with France – especially if the obstacles presented by visa and transportation quotas are abolished.

We will focus on Turkey’s future
During his speech at the Antalya TSO Traditional Tax Award Ceremony, TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We did it once before at the 2001 crisis. We will focus on Turkey’s future. If we focus on the future, if there is hope, I believe that there is nothing we cannot accomplish as the Turkish sector and entrepreneurs.”
