The women of Turkey will plot this country's path
Women had the floor for the new constitution. The sixth Constitution Citizen Meeting was held in Ankara, attended exclusively by women in honor of March 8th World Women's Day. Speaking at the meeting TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, "Our women will have a hand in the new constitution so that it will be beneficent to all. A woman's touch will bring prosperity."

Residents of İzmir meet to discuss the new constitution
Speaking at the İzmir meeting of the Constitution Platform, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that all parts of society agree on the matter of a new constitution and said, “What we are trying to do is to understand how our citizens view on various subjects and relay these opinions to the Constitution Negotiation Commission.”

The new TTK should go into effect in July once its faults are eliminated
Speaking at the New Turkish Trade Law Education Meeting in Konya, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that around 50 articles in the new Turkish Trade Law are in need of revision and criticized the view that not a single article should be changed in the new TTK. Hisarcıklıoğlu, pointing out that the new TTK is a revolutionary law and that it should go into effect in July once the said articles are revised.

Cooperation between Turkey and Turkmenistan could change the fate of the whole region
Speaking at the “Turk-Turkmen Business Forum organized in cooperation between the Foreign Economic Relations Council (DEİK) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), TOBB/DEİK President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “As the sun rises once again on the East, our geography presents us with many opportunities. In this new era, the cooperation of Turkey and Turkmenistan could change the fate of the whole region. Turkey and Turkmenistan are the leading actors of this region.”

TOBB and the Turkmenistan Chamber of Industry and Commerce sign agreement
The “Cooperation Agreement between TOBB and the Turkmenistan Chamber of Industry and Commerce” was signed by the TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the Turkmenistan Chamber of Industry and Commerce President Palvan Taganov in the presence of President Abdullah Gül and Turkmenistan President Gurbangulu Berdimuhamedov.
