We are ready to share our experiences with Kazakhstan
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the Kazakhstan Ambassador to Ankara, Prof. Dr. Canseyit Tüymebayev for lunch. During the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that Kazakhstan is not just a friend, but a brother while Ambassador Tüymebayev relations with Kazakhstan have improved in terms of strategy and economy and that it is quite pleasing that TOBB has contributed so largely to it.

Hisarcıklıoğlu promises support for industrial zones in Serbia
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, promising support to Serbian State Minister Süleyman Ugljanin and the Serbian Ambassador to Ankara Dusan Spasojevic for their industrial zones, said, “We can start promoting the investment opportunities to the businessmen in Turkey right away.”

Our trade with Russia will reach 35 billion Dollars
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu hosted the Russian Federation’s Ambassador to Ankara, Valdimir Ivanovskiy at the TOBB Union Center for lunch. During the meeting Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that they have always considered Russia as a very important ally in regards to strength and strategic value while Ambassador Ivanovskiy stated that the good relations with Russia have developed even further in recent years in both the strategic and economic sense and that TOBB has contributed greatly to this.

There are great cooperation opportunities ahead of us with Egypt
In his speech at the Turkish-Egyptian Business Forum, the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu touched on the investments of Turkish companies in Egypt saying that these investments do not even represent 10% of the full potential and stated that there is a great cooperation opportunity in terms of trade and investment ahead of them.

There are great opportunities in China
Attending the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Board Session in China, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu, pointing out that China will be the highest exporting country in 2017, said, “Turkey has been too long out of this market. There are great opportunities in China in the future.”

“The path opened in our hearts by Neşet Ertaş will never close”
In his message regarding the passing of the great folk poet and musician Neşet Ertaş, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We are deeply saddened by the loss of a man of love and heart, a great artist. We know that there is, as he put it, a path between hearts and the flowers on the path which he opened will never wilt. May the great master’s final resting place be in heaven. We will never forget him.”
