TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu presented former TOBB Board Members İlhan Parseker, Harun Karacan, Mustafa Yardımcı, Arif Parmaksız, Mehmet Kaya, Uğur Kaleli and Bülent Karakuş with plaques to commemorate their services.​

At the TOBB Board Meeting, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated the Fenerbahçe Football Team for their championship in the Spor-Toto Super League 2013-2014 season, their 19th championship.​

In his Mothers’ Day statement, TOBB President M. Rife Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that a mother’s love is the best example of self-sacrifice and unconditional, limitless love.​

Youth and Sports Minister Çağatay Kılıç visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. Meeting for supper, Hisarcıklıoğlu and Kılıç engaged in conversation, exchanging views.​

New agreements have been signed for the UMEM Ability’10 Project which aims to develop employment and vocational training. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu urged the unemployed to, “Come, learn a vocation; join production,” as well as requesting that the business world to address their employment needs via this project.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu conducted the opening of the Georgia Turkish Businessmen’s Association Office along with the Turkish-Georgian Business Council Co-President Jemal Inaishvili. Congratulating the efforts of the Chairman of the Association Kenan Yıldırım, Hisarcıklıoğlu gave a message of unity and solidarity to the businessmen residing in Georgia.​

Speaking at the opening of the 7th International Work Health and Safety Conference, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that they come from a tradition of employers embracing employees as family, saying, “We bleed inside if the smallest harm comes to them. That is why work safety is paramount for us.”​
