The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, TOBB Board Vice Presidents Halim Mete, İbrahim Çağlar, Çamur Ali Kopuz and TOBB Board Member Şahin Bilgiç attended the joint board meetings of the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Commerce (KTTO) and the Cyprus Turkish Industry Chamber (KTSO).​

A foundation ceremony took place in Lefkoşa (Nicosia) for the Hala Sultan Divinity College. Attending the ceremony were the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Visits to the TRNC Prime Minister Yorgancıoğlu and the Speaker of the Parliament Siber

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with Deputy Prime Minister Beşir Atalay, visited the TRNC Speaker of the Parliament Sibel Siber and TRNC Prime Minister Özkan Yorgancıoğlu at their offices. Present during the meetings were Director of Religious Affairs Mehmet Görmez, Turkey’s Ambassador to Lefkoşa Halil İbrahim Akça and TRNC Deputy Prime Minister, Economy, Tourism, Culture and Sports Minister Serdar Denktaş and other officials.​

TOBB remembers Necip Fazıl on the 30th anniversary of his passing with “The Light Which Descends Upon the Desert”

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) published a prestige edition of “The Light Which Descends Upon the Desert” to commemorate one of the great names in Turkish literary and philosophical world, Necip Fazıl Kısakürek on the 30th anniversary of his passing.​

“The Great Eastern Thought and The Characteristics of the Ideal Turkish Youth in the Works of Necip Fazıl Kısakürek” essay contest award ceremony was hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at the TOBB Union Chamber, attended by the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the fourth Local and Traditional Gift Products Fair. Visiting each stall in turn, Hisarcıklıoğlu received information regarding the goods. He stated, “The most prosperity is to be found in local goods. Every province and country has its own particular goods and riches. In order to turn these into prosperity, this fair and others like it are very important.”​
