World Bank Doing Business Report Activities

The Doing Business report provides objective measures of business regulations across 190 economies in selected cities at the regional and subnational level.

The report looks at domestic, small and medium-size companies and measures regulations affecting 11 areas of life of a domestic business. By measuring economies according to their ease of doing business across the globe and over time, Doing Business serves as a measurable benchmark for reform for policymakers encouraging them to compete towards more efficient regulation and serving as a unique resource for academics, journalists, private sector researchers and others interested in the business climate of each economy.

Aimed, in general at improving Turkey’s business environment and its performance on the Doing Business index in particular, TOBB plays a central role in the development of reform recommendations in light of the findings of the Doing Business report for Turkey.
