TOBB has started an aid campaign to address the hunger disaster in Africa by donating one million TL. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out the scale of the disaster and said, “I call out to the whole Turkish business world and look forward to their support.”​ The aid campaign which TOBB has started in regards to the hunger disaster taking place in Africa was announced in a press meeting held at the TOBB Union Center with the attendance of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Religious Affairs President Prof. Dr. Mehmet Görmez.
