Turkish civil aviation assembly held its meeting in İstanbul TOBB building, discussed the problems of sector and solutions. The President of Turkish Civil Aviation assembly’s Şahabettin Bolukçu stated that in order to develop amateur and sportive aviation, amateur aviation Federation and Turkish Aeronautical Association need to have collaboration. General Manager of Turkish Aeronautical Association Necdet Şendil also indicated that aviation industry needs qualified human resource. He added that existing legislation should convert to support of flight schools.

​At the meeting, General Manager of Turkish Aeronautical Association Necdet Şendil given the presentation to members of assembly. He stated that the reasons of not developing amateur and sportive aviation and flying school in Turkey, are connected to definciencies of legislation and finance, organizational, infrastructure and service. Mr Şendil stated that Turkey plane industry will have solid foundation with the development of Amateur and sportive aviation. He indicated that the aviation sector uses advanced technology also added that aviation sector needed quality human recourse. General Manager of Turkish Aeronautical Association Necdet Şendil emphasised in his presentation what should be done in oder to increase competitiveness in international area for civil aviation sector. Mr. Şendil indicated that Civil Aviation companies and flight schools need to have collaboration and he also added that the important need of flight schools are converted to support of existing legislation . Mr Şendil suggested that Directorate General of Civil aviation service’s cost need to be reduced. -The presentation of tusaş’s activities At the meeting the second presentantion was given by Mr. Yılmaz Güldoğan, Vice President, Strategic planning & industrial cooperation of Turkish Aerospace Industries, İnc (TAİ). Within his presentation Mr. Güldoğan were informed members of assembly about general publicity of TAİ, engineering department and the production level . Mr. Guldogan given information that 232 units of planes to Turkish air forces, 46 units of planes to Egyption air forces, 34 units SP 260 education planes was produced, 59 units CN 235 transport aircrafts and 30 units AS 532 helicopter manufactured by TUSAŞ.
