Faik Yavuz: Women's progress is a condition for social justice

Attending the “Women Entrepreneurs, and Women's Rights in Turkey Panel” held at the Customs and Trade Ministry, Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Treasurer Faik Yavuz celebrated March 8th International Women's Day, stated that women’s progress in all fields is a requirement for social justice.​

Stressing the importance of gender equality, Yavuz said, “Turkey is one of the first countries to see steps taken towards Women receive their due. The fact that women had the right to election and vote before many countries is one of the best examples of this.”
