Collaboration between Turkish and Kazakh women entrepreneurs

Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Board and the Kazakhstan National Entrepreneurs Chamber and the Women Entrepreneurs Council signed an agreement to promote trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.​

Turkey-Kazakhstan Women Entrepreneurs Business Forum was held at the TOBB Twin Towers. Speaking at the opening of the Forum, TOBB Deputy Chairman Selçuk Öztürk stated that Turkey-Kazakhstan relations have developed quickly in the last 25 years and that Turkish companies have made significant investments in Kazakhstan.

Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Çavuşoğlu said, “Investors in Turkey are benefiting from the world's most attractive incentives. I believe that our brothers from Kazakhstan will also benefit from these incentives and deals more with each passing day.”

Çavuşoğlu stated that in the business life, everybody has their responsibilities for giving ensuring women are able to move forward in business, and that women can convey their courage to future generations.

- Kazakhstan State Secretary Gulshara Abdykalikova

Kazakhstan State Secretary Gulshara Abdykalikova stated that Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev always showed special interest in the development of relations between the two sister states.

Pointing out that women are the most important factor in economic development in many countries, Abdykalikova said that the first goal of the business forum and the agreement is to promote business co-operation among the entrepreneurial women in the two countries in commercial, economic and investment fields.

- Kazakhstan National Entrepreneurs Chamber and Women Entrepreneurs Council President Ramazanova

Chamber of National Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan and President of Women Entrepreneurs Council, Lazzat Ramazanova, stated that about 40% of the country's gross domestic product is created by women, adding that women's contribution to the economic development of the country is steadily increasing. Ramazanova stated that the organization would promote investment opportunities between the two countries and the development of the business cooperation.

Under the auspices of Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Çavuşoğlu who attended the forum, a business cooperation agreement was signed. Çavuşoğlu was presented with an enamel work tableau.
