TOBB Board Member Salih Zeki Murzioğlu Organized Industrial Zones Supreme Council (OSBÜK) 15th General Assembly attended.

Murzioğlu spoke at the General Assembly held at the TOBB Twin Towers, attended by Science Industry and Technology Minister Faruk Ozlu and TBMM Commission President Ziya Altunyaldız, pointing out that the government had signed the regulations that opened the waf for the business world and said, “With the vision and efforts of Minister Faruk Özlü and efforts of the Commissioner of the Assembly, Mr. Ziya Altunyaldız's great efforts, the Law on the Promotion of the Industry and Supporting the Production has passed. It is also important that this package, like TOBB, OSBÜK and our chambers of commerce and industry, is prepared in a participatory and rational way by taking the views of the main actors of the industry. In the end, as industrialists, there has been a major reform agenda we have been waiting for a long time with enthusiasm and hope. We have seen many things that we have been asking for years, which we have demanded, have reached resolution.

These may look small, but added up amounts to nearly a billion liras per year. We put great importance on the removal of all these costs. The 15% price advantage provided to domestic producers in public procurement was clarified. By encouraging the opening of vocational and technical high schools and academies in OIZs, contribution will be made to solving the problems of qualified staff.

Faruk Özlü, Minister of Science, Industry and Technology, said, “We are reducing the number of personnel required to open an R&D center for companies operating in the automotive subsidiary industry to 15. This is an important regulation that will be coming out of the Council of Ministers in the coming days.

Recalling that the Production Reform Package had entered into force, Özlu stated that this package fulfilled the requests from the field.
