Paper Products Council convened

TOBB Turkey Paper and Paper Products Industry Council convened to discuss the issues of monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gases; high-grade paper pulp export protection, review of its taxation and relaying suggestions to the representatives of the Ministry of Economy. Council Members reported that their competitive power is weakened due to the low-quality imported paper.​

Also, Council Members were briefed on the recycling of waste paper, providing information in regards to energy reclamation and non-hazardous waste disposal system which had been developed.
