The TOBB-U.S. Chamber of Commerce Defense Industry Working Dinner was held under the auspices of M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), with the participation of Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler and U.S. Department of Defense Undersecretary Michael Duffey.​​

During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation were discussed with Keith Webster, Chairman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Defense and Aerospace Council; Ahmet Akyol, Chairman of the TOBB Turkish Defense Industry Council; Ertan Barut, Chairman of the TOBB Türkiye Software Council; and representatives of Turkish and U.S. defense and aerospace industry firms.
