In a statement regarding the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We held the General Assembly of UMAT Customs and Tourism Operations, which we established in collaboration with our Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Thrace to modernize the İpsala Customs Gate leading to Greece. I congratulate our UMAT GTİ Board of Directors Chairman İsmail Şapçı, the Board of Directors, and the partners for their successful work. As the TOBB and the Chamber and Exchange community, we have completed the modernization of 15 customs gates and the construction of 3 truck parks to date using the Build-Operate-Transfer method, and have made them available for the service of our country. May this be beneficial for our country and the business world.”
