Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu and TOBB General Assembly President Cihan Ergenç wrote the following in the Anıtkabir Book of Honor:

“Great Atatürk,

As the executives and delegates of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, we stand before you to express our respect for your cherished memory and to reaffirm our commitment to the founding principles and goals of our nation.

As the umbrella organization of the Turkish business community, we are holding our 82^nd General Assembly this year. You liberated our homeland from enemies and laid the foundations for bright, civilized, and beautiful days.

As the Turkish private sector, it is our duty to safeguard this honorable legacy and ensure that this great victory is crowned with success in the economic sphere.

Our primary goal is to expand our productive capacity, increase employment, and boost investment. We will continue to work with all our might toward this goal.

We fully appreciate the value of the principles of our Republic, and we will never forget the path you have charted or the goals you have set.

We are confident that both we and the generations to come will uphold these values, protect this heavenly homeland at the cost of our lives, and carry it to the forefront of the race for civilization.

As the Turkish private sector and entrepreneurs, we reaffirm before you our commitment to do our part on this path and to elevate our country to the level of modern civilization under the light of reason and science.

On behalf of our great community, we remember with gratitude and respect all those who contributed to the founding of our Republic and its journey to where it stands today, and all who sacrificed their lives for it.
