Hisarcıklıoğlu celebrates May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), stated in a message released on the occasion of May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day that labor, production, and development are the most fundamental elements, saying, “All our workers who labor, produce, and add value through their hard work play a major role in building a strong Türkiye. “Let us not forget that workers and employers are the two inseparable core elements of the workforce. We can only achieve a prosperous Türkiye through this unity and solidarity,” he said.
Hisarcıklıoğlu included the following statements in his message:
“May 1st, Labor and Solidarity Day, is a meaningful occasion when we once again reflect on the sanctity of labor, the power of solidarity, and the importance of collective production. As the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, just as we value entrepreneurship and investment, we sincerely prioritize the protection of workers’ rights at every level of our business community and the creation of a more just and sustainable structure in the workplace.
Our country’s growth, increased prosperity, and attainment of a stronger position in global competition are possible only through mutual understanding, dialogue, and cooperation between workers and employers. Our common goal is greater employment, stronger production, and a more prosperous Türkiye for everyone.
With these sentiments, I extend my congratulations to all workers contributing to our country’s development on May 1st, Labor and Solidarity Day, and wish them a future filled with health, peace, and success.”
