The launch of the “ATONET Smart Assistant” project, implemented by the Ankara Chamber of Commerce to facilitate the business and transactions of its members, was hosted by ATO President Gürsel Baran with the participation of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.
Speaking at the event held at ATO Congresium, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The name of our Ankara Chamber of Commerce, which I have always been proud to be a member of, is now recognized and known worldwide. As President of the World Chambers Federation (WCF), which brings together the chambers of commerce and industry of 150 countries under one roof, seeing this success achieved by our Ankara Chamber of Commerce has been a source of special meaning and deep pride for me.”
- ATO surpassed 83 projects from 41 countries
Last September, at the World Chambers Congress held in Melbourne, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that he witnessed ATO’s success firsthand and that this congress was also the first World Chambers Congress during his term as WCF President. Emphasizing that ATO’s achievement of world championship in this global platform, which includes chambers representing 150 countries, was a source of particular happiness and pride for him, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said: “ATO has gone through an extremely tough and strong competition process on its way to achieving this award. Chambers from all over the world participated in this prestigious competition in six different categories with the projects they implemented. Our Ankara Chamber of Commerce once again achieved first place, leaving behind 83 projects from 41 countries. As President of the World Chambers Federation, representing this large family of chambers from 150 countries, I would like to express my great honor that this success has come from Türkiye and our capital city, Ankara. I sincerely congratulate our esteemed Chamber President, Mr. Gürsel Baran, our Board of Directors and Assembly for bringing this modern vision to our Chamber; Project Coordinator Adem Ali Yılmaz for his tremendous efforts in implementing the project; Gökhan Ertek for presenting the project so well at the congress; and all our colleagues working on the ATO project development team. I wholeheartedly believe that our ATO will continue to achieve new successes and remain a source of pride for both us and our country. I would like to thank our Vice President, Mr. Cevdet Yılmaz, and all our guests who are here with us to share this great joy.”
