“We commemorate Atatürk with respect and longing”

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his message for the 84th anniversary of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's passing, said: “We commemorate Atatürk with feelings of deepest love, respect and gratitude. We will never stray from the path of enlightened civilization that he opened to us. We will forever protect all our values, especially the Republic of Türkiye, which he has entrusted to us.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu said the following views in his message:
“We are once again on the anniversary of the death of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, one of the greatest leaders in the history of the world; the genius leader through the great struggles that changed the fate of our nation, with deep feelings of respect and gratitude.
We understand better day by day how great and age-transcendent a view is contained within Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s fight and vision; our admiration for him increases yet again.
The Turkish business world will not betray Atatürk's trust in the private sector.
We promise that we will work with all our strength to keep our country among the most advanced and prosperous societies, and we bow respectfully before the exalted memory of Atatürk.”
