The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the consultation meeting held at the Kocaeli Chamber of Commerce and listened to the problems of the members.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they were in Azerbaijan during the weekend and organized a Business Forum with 200 businessmen in the city of Shusha. Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they went to Baku to receive the state decoration awarded them by President Ilham Aliyev and that they returned to their homeland by receiving this valuable award on behalf of the communities.

Hisarcıklıoğlu, pointing out that the dream of producing a national car, left unfinished for 60 years, will become a reality in a month, said, “We are opening our TOGG factory on October 29. As of March 2023, we will see our car on the roads of Kocaeli.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they worked with 365 chamber / commodity exchange presidents during the pandemic period and provided many supports for the business world, “In this period, we have conveyed nearly 220 problems from you. 97 percent of them were solved. As the business world, we have been the country that survived the pandemic with the least damage. This is thanks to my chamber and commodity exchange presidents. They did a great job.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that their duty is to make their members' voices heard.

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that there is grace and prosperity together, and underlined that no one should alienate anyone else.

Hisarcıklıoğlu, emphasizing that their differences are their riches, stated that when trouble befalls the country, the nation reveals its unity and solidarity.

Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that the people of Kocaeli experienced this unity and solidarity during the 17 August 1999 Marmara Earthquake, and said that he witnessed a 75-year-old grandfather and his wife bringing relief materials from İzmir to this place.

“If we are one and together, no one in the world can bring us down,” Hisarcıklıoğlu said, adding, “I say this as your brother who witnessed this personally. Whoever stands together wins,” he said.
