Hisarcıklıoğlu issued a message on the subject, “All our citizens were deeply saddened by the Elazığ earthquake. The pain of our losses here saddened us deeply.

I extend my condolences to our nation; may the grace of Allah be upon those we lost and may Allah grant patience to their loved ones who survived them. We wish rapid healing to those who are injured.”

Stating that he believes our nation, in the spirit of unity and togetherness, as in every disaster, will stand in solidarity in this disaster mending the wounds and pain, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We must stand together in difficult times, side by side.

We can only reduce the pain of disasters in unity and solidarity. May Allah preserve us from another worse disaster.”
