30.09.2019 / Ordu

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, visited Ordu Commodity Exchange President Ziver Kahraman and consulted with Commodity Exchanges Council Members. Hisarcıklıoğlu reminded that Ordu produces 50% of hazelnuts in Turkey, “We have to add value to hazelnuts. We get 2 billion USD in revenue from hazelnuts. They’re adding chocolate into it and reaching 10 billion USD. We should increase the added value of hazelnut with chocolate.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his speech at Ordu Commodity Exchange, said that the fact that the Commodity Exchange is accredited is an indication of how well they do their jobs. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that he is pleased with all the chambers and exchanges in Ordu and said, “I know that the members convey their problems to me. They work well. The best indicator of the lawful work is that they are accredited. Ordu Commodity Exchange produces services according on the same standard as a chamber/exchange in Germany and England.”

Reporting that Turkey Product Specialized Exchanges have started operation, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the market would dictate conditions. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that all the problems of agriculture will be discussed here.

Ziver Kahraman, Ordu Commodity Exchange President, pointed out Hisarcıklıoğlu's works and said, “We are stronger with your unifying and morale boosting work. We have always felt your support.”
