The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Çayeli Chamber of Commerce and Industry, meeting with council members.​

In his speech, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that with the mediation system implemented, workers and employers are greatly relieved. Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that the judicial process in Turkey takes 5 years, while it is just five days in Germany.

Pointing out that the mediation system brings convenience the TOBB President, “We do not want to deal with litigation. Workers have rights to the enterprises they work in. With mediation system, 63% of the cases are resolved without the need for court.”

Referring to the destruction of nature, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that haphazard construction in the Black Sea should be prevented and that the main source of development in the region is tourism.

Stating that the Black Sea region is worth a fortune in terms of tourism, Hisarcıklıoğlu touched on the importance of tea as a source of livelihood, “Turkey and everyone abroad consumes tea. Tea is an important promotional tool. Ovit Tunnel, goes up to Mardin. Sarp Border Gate has facilitated transportation with Georgia. Rize-Artvin Airport is completed after one year. You have achieved this by unity and solidarity and wanting the same thing.”

Referring to the needs of the region, Hisarcıklıoğlu said: “Two things are very important for the region. The Tea Law is very important. Natural gas reaching the whole region is very important, especially in terms of energy. The railroad which will connect Samsun and Hopa is very important. If we all aim for the same goal, we will achieve our goals. So we have to aim at the same target.”
