Hisarcıklıoğlu addressed the council members on the first day of the information event spanning the 21^st, 22^nd and 23^rd of June, 2019, and exchanged views with the participants while listening to their problems and proposals. Stating that TOBB is Turkey's most democratic institution, Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that it is their duty to serve traders and industrialists. Reminding that there is a period free of election for the next 4 years, the TOBB President pointed out that it is the ideal time to implement structural reforms relating to the economy.

Hisarcıklıoğlu reminded council members that 'the most beneficent of people are those beneficent unto others’ in our culture and gave a message of unity and solidarity. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who called not to marginalize anyone because of their thoughts, beliefs and sects, said, “If you are human, you will think. Don't alienate anyone because they think differently. It's natural that we don't think the same way. The important thing is to meet in the middle without a fight. Birds of a feather stick together. Remember, if we maintain our unity and solidarity, we all win.”
